Codename: Son of Fred: South Western Ohio's Obsessive Compulsive geocache Tour
Size: Large Difficulty 5 Terrain 4
Click here for Son of Fred's listing (Coming soon)

This multistage cache is obsessively ambitious effort to be undertaken
by the cachers in South Western Ohio. It is the most ambitious cache
placed by any organization since MVG done Fred.

While this cache could certainly be completed in one very ambitious day of
adventure, (GOOD LUCK TO THAT  ) it was designed in such a way that
you will drive near other geocaches along the way.

What makes this so hard is that you do not find a pattern because so
many different cachers helped hide this thing. We are not telling you who
hid each stage until the end of the hunt, so you can’t think about other
caches you’ve found by that team.

Fred used 150 miles and three counties to complete the quest. Son of Fred
is 300 Miles and 8 counties to complete. What will you be finding in this
Multiple stage cache? Boxes large enough to trade travel bugs and other items,
devilishly hidden micros, and the occasional puzzle to send you into a head
banging off the wall frenzy. What kind of puzzles? Well, you’ll
have to see for yourself.

The final stage is a large container full of high end trade items.
So keep that in mind when you make your final assault. This container
is full of movies, books, maps, stuffed animals, toys,
watches…well, you get the point. So please trade accordingly. It
wouldn’t be fair to the next cache hunter if you took a DVD movie
and left a dirty golf ball in its place.

So do it alongside your regular caching time, or make a weekend of
it, this is sure to be a great adventure for anyone brave enough to
attempt it.

The GeoCoin logos are under way and I will try and get a few previews up here in the
next day or so. The Fred coin was Fred Flintstone so the first thing I thought of was
Pebbles ;) I will do about 10 or 12 and post them as we go.

I will have the list and order sometime tonight or tomorrow. I will email the
list out to everyone as I do not want to post it where non placers can read it.
We keep who wrote each stage from the caches who seek the cache ;) So
you will need to check your mail boxes on Wednesday at the latest.

Happy Hiking

Sorry everyone I have got this behind. I have ran into a few problems that I somehow can not
figure out how to fix. I am worried that I will lead someone way off the trail. So give me a little
time and a little less snow, And I should have my stage up.

Your not the only one behind.

I just wanted to let everyone know that we are getting there. This is a BIG multi and it looks like it
will take more time than I thought it would take. That is my fault. We are not on a time table to
get done. I was thinking out loud that we could have this done and posted by February. WRONG

The very cold weather and snow didn't help. The most important thing is that all the stages work. From
the things I have heard so far this is going to be awesome
